CIDEC came into being in 1990, established by a group of researchers and consultants from the world of business and the universities. This core foundation gradually expanded to incorporate, with great dynamism, national and international experts, as scientific and honorary partners.

CIDEC, a non-profit making institution, is an open space for strategic reflection and for the diffusion of innovation and good practices in employment, education and social development, which promotes the creation and transfer of knowledge between the European Union and Latin America.
